HAMAS LAUNCHES UNPRECEDENTED ATTACK ON ISRAEL

ln a shocking turn of events, the ruling Hamas militant group in the Gaza Strip carried out a multi-front attack on Israel. The attack involved firing thousands of rockets and infiltrating the heavily fortified border by air, land, and sea. This has resulted in at least 40 people being killed and hundreds wounded, making it the deadliest attack in Israel in years.

HAMAS LAUNCHES UNPRECEDENTED ATTACK ON ISRAEL:

The attack began with an early-dawn rocket assault from inside Gaza, followed by an invasion by Hamas militants who had infiltrated Israel through multiple locations. Terrified residents in border towns reported constant gunfire and ongoing firefights even hours after the initial attack.

Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant warned that Hamas had made a grave mistake and promised that Israel would win this war.

The timing of this attack is particularly delicate for Netanyahu’s government as it comes amidst divisions within army ranks that threaten to undermine his reputation as a security expert. Additionally, tensions along Israel’s volatile border with Gaza have been escalating over recent weeks.

The United States has unequivocally condemned these unprovoked attacks by Hamas terrorists against Israeli civilians. U.S. Secretary of Defense Lloyd J. Austin is closely monitoring developments in Israel and reaffirmed the U.S.’s commitment to Israel’s right to defend itself.
